Court Judge

I am well aware of the Judge’s responsibilities. I have been practicing law for over fifteen years, nine as the Chief Public Defender of Chippewa County. My work brings me in daily contact with the District Court staff, prosecutors, victim advocates, police officers and citizens involved with the court system.

I believe the District Court has many diverse responsibilities which affect every citizen in this county. Whether it is insuring a proper and legal eviction process, safekeeping constitutional rights for generations to come, or assisting someone in settling a dispute, each job is equally important.

I have the background, dedication and experience to be your District Judge. I understand the difficulties that apply to both sides of a case and promise to be fair and just within the confines of the law. I will continue to run an excellent and efficient office, and keep working for a better tomorrow.
